There are people who are really attentive to what happens around them, acting for the best and work for an ideal. Among these are those I knew in ALIVE, a cultural association in Verona. Their mission is to teach music and "bel canto" to children and adolescents, but they do much more.
With discipline and passion these young people begin to love the beauty and commitment.
The results confirm that they are right: some leave but those who stay has the honor to assume prominent roles in major productions, working with top professionals.
The Accademia Lirica Veronese is conducted by Maestro Paolo Facincani together with professionals and volunteers.
The result is a strong community in which everyone learns the importance of solidarity and commitment: this is why I called this work ''Voices in chorus''.
Together with twelve other photographers who form the Association Larterìa, I was charged by the Cultural Department of Verona to create an exhibition and a series of related events around the title ''Youg Days: thirteen photographers in the youth universe" hosted by the International Center of Photography Scavi Scaligeri.
The exhibition and the catalog hve been curated by Arianna Rinaldo, picture-editor and critic and internationally.recognized. Together with his essay, the bilingual catalog inlcude thirteen texts produced by young writers.
The project was completed by vocal and musical happenings, readings and lectures on the relationship between youngs and art.
The whole project has involved more than fifty people, I was responsible for relations with partners and much of the logistics.
